Consultation

Usually taking around an hour or so, a consultation incorporates
a site visit and discussion about what you want from your garden or landscape design.
A consultation will generally include advice on any or all of the following:

• plant selection based on micro-climate, soil, aspect, purpose and availability
• Plant care advice from planting to maturity
• pest and disease management based on prevention rather than short term solutions
• minimising water use
• soil improvement
• appropriate use of space and designing for low maintenance
• maximum utilisation of desire lines, views, air flow, solar aspect and water run-off.

This will be mostly verbal advice and can include written notes and sketches upon request.

Rate: $70/hr
plus travel if more than 30mins each way

Design

Full colour computerised landscape design in plan view.
Design can include features such as:

• Overall plan view
• Close up plan views of special areas and features
• Perspective views of special areas and features
• Plant list with botanical names, common names, description, sizes, quantities and alternatives
• Plant care advice from planting to maturity
  
• Materials selection with description, quantities and alternatives
• Dimensions for set out
• Alternative options
• Feature explanations
• Images of special features
• Pricing estimates/quotes
• Recommendations for various tradespeople

From $650 depending on site size and complexity (average $1200)

Available formats:

• A4 or A3 hardcopies
• PDF, PNG or JPEG formats available for viewing or downloading online, and/or on memory stick/CD

Video presentation

A video walkthough takes you into your future garden. Complete with sound effects, realistic lighting and all your existing features a walkthrough can really give you a complete picture of what your garden can actually look like.
